This is a little sensation: A near brandnew 30 year old Kawasaki Z550 with just 3.107 KM's (this are 1.930 miles) on the clock - so nothing and only one owner since new since 12th of march 2015 when I registered her on my name. Unrestored and original.
This bike sits for near 30 years in a warm, wooden pigparn and been konservated with a kind of oil. The 550 got now a big maintenance to bring her back to life like: brandnew Metzeler classic tires, new oil & fluids, new battery. Engine starts immediately with 1 click on the start buttom and runs extremely smooth like exepted from a new motor. Everything is working on the bike and she got brandnew TÜV (TÜV = german MOT) without any problems.This bike really have near no signs of age. There is no rust or blooming on the aluminium parts, the paint is shiny, chrome is excellent, original exhaust and downpipes chrome excellent without dents or scratches, seat like new, rubbers smooth and in super condition, rims excellent, brake discs without feelable wear etc.
This KZ550 been originally silver. Very boring in my opinion so I changed the paint parts with a set from another 550 project from me professional laquered with several clearcoats, original japanese FX decals (the Z400/500/550's are called "FX" in Japan) to make her really unique and something special. If you prefer to get this 550 delivered in silver with her original paint set - no problem, I can chan change that back without problems. Both tanks are derusted and sealed inside with a seethrough resin. I also added some few polished aluminium parts like ignition- and rotor cover and the downpipe chromes and original new Kawasaki crashguards. Old rubber brakelines been exchanged with steel brake lines front and rewar for your safety. They are black coated and have chrome fittings. This additions are included in the price.
If you ever wanted this model in like nearly new condition and if you want a hassle free reliable classic bike you can drive the next 15, 20 years - here it is! It's really rare to get a 30 year old low miler in this condition. This little KZ engines are bulletproof and last normally far over 100K miles without big problems. If you think this bike is expensive consider that Yamaha ask 1,5 grands more of a smaller copy of a old original - the SR400. Here you have a unique original classic bike wich performs powerful, have good suspension and brakes and where you can sit straight on a comfy saddle and not tortured and bend like on a modern bike.

Rarer Fund direkt aus dem Schweinestall! Eine nahezu jungfräuliche KZ550 mit jetzt sagenhaften 3.107 Km aus erster Hand. Die Maschine wurde vom Erstbesitzer neu bei Kawasaki gekauft (Rechnung liegt vor!), 2 Jahre gefahren, 1986 abgemeldet, mit Konservierungsöl eingesprüht und in den warmen Schweinestall gestellt, wo sie bis Februar 2014 stand.
Die Maschine hat bis auf grau gewordene Schrauben kaum Patina, selbst die Ansaugschläuche sind noch weich. Original Auspuffanlage ohne Kratzer und Beulen mit sehr gutem Chrom. Lack glänzt, Sitzbank ist wie neu etc.
Maschine wurde nur technisch für den TÜV revidiert, d.h. Vergaserreinigung, Öl- und Filterwechsel, Bremsflüssigkeitswechsel und neue Reifen. Motor springt beim ersten drücken des Starters an - gleich ob warm oder kalt und läuft genauso, wie man es von einem neuen Motor erwartet. Diese Motorengeneration gilt als unzerstörbar und erreicht bei halbwegs gescheiter Pflege mühelos 100.000 KM. Also die einmalige Gelegenheit einen fast neuen Klassiker zu fahren, der nicht nur wie neu aussieht sondern auch so fährt und noch viele Jahre hält.
Einige Schrauben, Achsen und Federn werden gegen neu verzinkte original Schrauben ersetzt sodaß diese Kawa auch im Detail den KM entspricht.
Ich habe den japanischen FX Lacksatz meines Z550 mit GPZ Motor Projektes montiert um zu schauen wie es aussieht an einer Z550. Hervorragend wie ich finde. Lieferung im originalen silber oder mit dem FX Lacksatz möglich. Der FX Lacksatz ist mit mehreren Schichten Klarlack neu lackiert und der tank ist mit durchsichtigem Harz versiegelt. Es wurden hochglanzpolierte Lima und Zündungsdeckel, sowie polierte Auspuffbrieden verbaut. Desweiteren neue, originale Sturzbügel von Kawasaki und Stahlflex Bremsleitungen vorne und hinten.
Hab die Z zwischenzeitlich auf mich zugelassen - also kein 1.Hd Fahrzeug mehr und KM erhöhen sich, da ich sie fahre. Fährt wie ein Fahrad, geht richtig nach vorne und es ist eine Freude mit Ihr durch die Berge zu huschen.
Einmalige Gelegenheit ein fast neues klassisches Motorrad zu erwerben, daß noch aussieht wie ein Motorrad ohne Firlefanz und endlosen Plaste Teilen.
