  • Description

Excellent A8 imported to germany as new in 1993 (1991 been the last 900R year in germany) with just 26.400 genuine KM's on the clock - thats aproxm. 16.400 miles.

She got a big maintenance incl. valve adjustment, all fluids changed - coolant fluid as well, big fork service and many powdercoated, polished and overworked parts. Most bolts rezinked, fueltank sealed inside with see tru resin etc. etc.. Excellent original exhausts with nice black chrome, original griprubbers and switches like new. It's been really a 1st quality basebike. Look at the forklegs, original colour, engine cylinders and body, swingarm, frame - the same. Normally this wouldn't be a bike to get overworked but I want a really  quality base for this project I had in my mind since 2 years.

Bikey got a a new laquered paintset in the style from the last sold 900R - 900Rs been sold until 2013 (!) in Japan. It's somehow nice to have the last EU evolution in the design of the very first and very last 900R - the A1 and the A16. Wheels get professionally laquered in 2K paint to match the style. New smokegrey windshield and new seatcover etc. I don't cpoied the A16 design 1 to 1 becouse I didn't liked all of it like the all black wheels and forks, the ugly GPZ sidepanel decals etc.. So this bike is definately unique but with all original elements from the legendary 900R series - the first true superbike deserving this name, maybe exept the GPZ1100UT.

I equipped her with rejetted ZRX1100 carbs and the airbox of the former A1-A6 models. They eliminate the powercastration from the late A7/A8 models, faster throttle response, no powerhole between 4500-5000 rpm, smoother run. This bikes is insanely fast and no Kindergarden even if this is 80's technology.

Suspension is very stable, easy to ride - regardless if for touring or if you force her hard. Excellent working brakes and all electrics work like it should.

I got the decals from the late models in Japan original Kawasaki for insane money and this bike is absolutely unique, low with mileage, in excellent original condition and performing like a beast.
