Bargain! a real honest Yam 2 stroke. 3 owners since new. Last owner had her 11 years, born 1940... Everything on this bike works like it should, all fluids now freshly changed. You can kick her on with your hand. She starts after 1 kick and runs totally smooth. Very nice appearance thats why I don't want to touch her and sell her like I got her - except the fresh maintainance I gave her. She have only 16K KM's whats about 10.100 miles - so nothing. You can drive her like she is or bring her back in like new condition with very low costs and work.
I want to be honest as possible and tell you the pros and cons:
pros: original, stands very good the last 30 years, surfaces are very nice and even the rims are very good in shape. Matching numbers. Engine runs like a baby and will boost you for a lot of years in the early 80's 2 stroke era. Very low wear from all parts of this bike. Invest a little money, lots of love and some hours work and she is a headturner. No crazy preowners who bolt this and that on the machine. This bike is in really good order AND appearance for this age. And she runs absolute smooth. This is not a endless sitter, she#s get driven every year, not much but in regular order to keep mechanic in good order.
cons: preowner had a crash with this bike - nothing serious but I have to mention this. Result is a scratched exhaust right side, scratched handle bar rubber right. He slides with the bike - don't crashed in anything. The bike runs straight forward the handle bar is ok so really nothing serious but I want to be honest with you and mention all the minus points. Paint is original but have here and there some scratches. Seat in the backarea is slighty damaged. Preowner died and the keys are not findable so she gots a new ignition lock with 2 keys and the tank cap miss the chrom lock surface. The "RD 250" decals on the sidecovers are missing but will be attached.

Sehr gute 2 Takt Yamsel, wiegt nix und geht wie die Sau. Technisch 1A, nur 16TKm, optisch wenig Schwächen aber nicht perfekt. Wunderschöne und begehrte Nackerte aus den Früh 80igern. Fahrzeug hat matching numbers und trägt denm original Lack. Vorbesitzer hatte einen Rutscher bei dem der rechte Gummigriff des Lenkers und der rechte Auspuff beschädigt wurde. Nichts ernstes aber es sind optische Mängel. Macht sehr viel Spass und durch Gewicht und Fahradreifengröße extrem wendig. Springt beim 1ten Kick an und läuft sahnig. Wenn die Maschine nicht so wie sie ist, verkauft wird, restauriere ich sie und eliminiere die kleinen Macken. Preis steigt dann entsprechend. Maschine ist verkauft.
